One of the most powerful house speaker resined yesterday after an attempt to kill himself. i guess because of accusations from his wife that he was having an affair with the lobbyist. he tried to kill himself by swallowing sleeping pills. o yea his wife went on national t.v to let the whole world know who he was having an affair with. He claimed he was dealing with depression. However, we all know the real reason why he was so down and out. of course the media made it so his message would have no effect on the people.
Why do you think all these Congressman and important people are so impacted by affairs? Does it really hurt their job performance if they aren't in a monogamous relationship? Does the country hold celebrities and members of government to a standard different from average people? Does our society have an irrational need for people to be in monogamous relationships for their entire lives?
