This article talks about the Special Election in upstate New York that was one of the centers of attention during election night. The conservative candidate lost, but because absentee ballots have gone his way a bit, he has "unconceded" the race, basically saying he is not accepting that he lost anymore. The blogpost argues that Glenn Beck (a conservative radio host) and others in what they call the "wingnut" media (extremely right wing people on TV) are the ones that are pushing for him to do this.
Can you really unconcede a race after you say you lost? It's been 3 weeks and the guy he lost to is already in Washington voting on healthcare and other issues!
Cool article Mr. Malone! Why doesn't the link work in school? (Wonkette unfortunately is blocked by the School District filter despite repeated attempts to get it removed from the list along with youtube and facebook which I believe should be used as educational tools. So annoying, but you can access it from home! The author of the blog Jim and I were roommates in college!)
